High Court Demands Progress Report on Law College Gang Rape Investigation

The Calcutta High Court has mandated that the West Bengal government provide a comprehensive report concerning the ongoing investigation into a gang rape incident at a local law college.
Presided over by Justice Soumen Sen, the court also insisted that the state present the case diary for scrutiny during the upcoming hearing on July 10.
The case involves three public interest litigations following allegations against an alumnus and two seniors of South Calcutta Law College for a heinous act against a fellow student.
