These reports have prompted a firm response from Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra, who assured that offenders will be held accountable, regardless of their association with the ministry.
The Syrian defence ministry has initiated a probe following disturbing reports of misconduct by individuals donning military attire in the largely Druze city of Sweida.
Speaking on the issue, Defence Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra underscored a policy of zero tolerance, affirming that any violators, even if linked to the ministry, will face consequences.
