The Navi Mumbai police have taken legal action against two 24-year-old men following a social media frenzy over a dangerous stunt. The men allowed a woman to engage in 'aura farming' on the bonnet of a moving Mercedes-Benz on a bustling Kharghar road.
The woman, part of a new global trend, was filmed performing this reckless act, which quickly went viral. This fad, initially ignited by an Indonesian boy's poses online, is being criticized for compromising public safety.
The accused, Alfesh Azam Sheikh and Rafique Sulde, are charged under multiple sections, including reckless driving and endangering lives, as well as under the Motor Vehicles Act. Similar incidents have been reported, raising serious concerns about road safety.
