In a shocking incident in Gurugram, a migrant worker was brutally attacked by four security guards, following accusations of theft. The assault took place in the basement of an under-construction building in Sector 37-C, where the victim, a native of Rajasthan, was employed as an excavator operator.
The incident, which occurred on June 10, came to public attention through a video circulating on social media, prompting widespread condemnation. The Gurugram police have since arrested the perpetrators, identified as Pushpendra, Ajit Singh, Krishan Kumar, and Amit Kumar, following the emergence of the footage.
According to police, the accused were employed as security guards at the site. A statement from a police spokesperson revealed that the altercation arose over allegations that the victim stole electric cables, leading to the violent confrontation. The victim, no longer working at the site, endured a severe beating by the group of four during the incident.
