Tragedy Strikes: Migrant Workers Die in Kerala Plant Accident

In a tragic incident, three migrant workers lost their lives in a waste treatment plant accident in Areekode, Kerala. The victims hailed from Bihar and Assam and were involved in cleaning operations at the time of the incident.
Authorities suspect that suffocation inside the plant's water recycling unit might have caused the deaths. Nearby hospital authorities confirmed the workers were declared dead upon arrival.
The Kerala Labour Commission will lead an investigation into the tragic event. State Minister V Sivankutty assured that bodies will be sent back to their home states, and compensation will be provided to the bereaved families in accordance with the law.
