A legal dispute has arisen in Ghaziabad after a man issued a notice to the municipal commissioner, demanding compensation for damage caused to his luxury vehicle due to severe waterlogging.
According to Amit Kishore from the Vasundhara region, his Mercedes stalled on July 23 in Sahibabad amidst heavy waterlogging, which he blames on unclogged drainage systems.
In his notice, Kishore demands repair costs and Rs 5 lakh for mental anguish, alleging local encroachments exacerbate flooding. Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik refutes these claims as unfounded and speculative.
