A tragic discovery unfolded in Bihar's Patna as the body of a police constable was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his residence, a senior officer reported on Thursday. The deceased, Constable Ashok Kumar Singh, was believed to have died by suicide on Wednesday in the Buddha Colony area.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer Krishna Murari Prasad confirmed, "We received the information about the suicide, and a team was immediately dispatched. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination." At the time of the incident, Singh's wife was away at her parents' house, leaving him alone at home.
While the exact cause behind the alleged suicide is still undetermined, forensic experts have begun collecting evidence at the scene. Authorities are currently conducting legal procedures according to existing guidelines to unravel the details behind this unfortunate event.
