A special court announced a life sentence for Mohsin, who was found guilty of abduction and rape of a 15-year-old girl.
The verdict, delivered by Special Judge Divya Bhargava of the POCSO court, also included a Rs 1,20,000 fine, with half directed to the victim, according to government council Vinay Kumar Arora.
The crime occurred on February 23, 2020, in Nirana village. Mohsin took the girl from her home to a tubewell, where the assault took place. Her family later found her near the tubewell.
