According to Circle Officer Amit Pathak, the victim's son lodged a complaint claiming that Ramkishan Thakur, a neighbor, entered his mother's room in the early hours of August 2-3 and committed the assault. The authorities promptly registered a case against Thakur and launched a rigorous investigation.
The victim has already gone through a medical examination to assist the ongoing inquiry. In the meantime, extensive police efforts are underway to track down Thakur, who is currently absconding, ensuring justice is served promptly.
