Tragic Warehouse Accident: Young Worker Dies in Lift Mishap
A 19-year-old man named Shiv Kumar, recently arrived from Bihar for work, died after his head was trapped in a goods lift in a Delhi warehouse. The police have filed a case of negligence and initiated an investigation, sealing the lift for mechanical inspection. The victim's family has been notified.

A young worker's journey to Delhi for employment ended tragically as he died in a lift accident within an electronics warehouse in Paschim Vihar. According to the police, the victim, Shiv Kumar, 19, a native of Bihar's Champaran district, succumbed instantly when his head became trapped in the goods lift.
Kumar had arrived in the city just five days prior to seek opportunities and was employed at the warehouse, earning Rs 12,000 monthly. The accident unfolded Thursday evening during his use of the lift, leading to immediate fatality.
Authorities have registered a negligence case and are conducting further investigations, with the lift sealed for inspection to determine safety lapses. Kumar's body was retrieved by his brother, Rohit, following a post-mortem and has been sent to Bihar for the last rites.
