NCDRC and States Achieve Record Disposal Rates in Consumer Cases
The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) achieved a 122% disposal rate in consumer cases last month. Ten states also reported over 100% disposal rates, indicating progress in clearing backlogs. The e-Jagriti platform, launched to digitize consumer grievance redressal, has seen over two lakh registrations since January.

In a remarkable achievement, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) reported a disposal rate of 122% for consumer cases in July, the government announced on Sunday.
Ten states, including Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan, also surpassed a 100% disposal rate, highlighting substantial progress in addressing case backlogs nationwide.
The digital e-Jagriti platform, introduced for transforming consumer grievance redressal, recorded over two lakh registrations since its launch at the beginning of 2025, facilitating easier case filing for consumers and advocates both domestically and internationally.
