A Border Security Force (BSF) constable has been discovered dead in a hotel room in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, police reports confirm.
The constable, identified as Shins Mon from Kerala, had been serving with the 192nd battalion and was stationed in Jaisalmer for months. He checked into the Kalakar Colony hotel on September 10.
The hotel owner alerted the police when Mon didn't open his room door for two days. Upon forced entry, they found Mon's deceased body, with initial signs pointing toward suicide. An investigation is ongoing, with a post-mortem set to determine the exact cause.
