In a strong appeal to the central government, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has demanded the swift approval of two significant bills passed by the state legislature. The bills, which aim to provide 42 percent reservation for Backward Communities, are pivotal for ensuring enhanced political representation and educational opportunities for these groups.

Speaking at the 'Praja Palana Dinostavam', an event marking Hyderabad's merger with the Indian Union, Reddy emphasized that the implementation of these reservations would benefit 23,973 individuals from Backward Communities by paving the way for social justice.

Furthermore, Reddy reiterated Telangana's unwavering stance on securing its rightful share of water from the Krishna and Godavari rivers, underscoring their critical importance as the state's lifelines.
