On Thursday, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi, highlighted the urgency of expediting land acquisition in Arunachal Pradesh for timely completion of fundamental defense infrastructure projects.

In a meeting with state Governor, Lt Gen K T Parnaik (Retd), at Raj Bhavan, General Dwivedi also advocated for the creation of Zilla Sainik Boards in the state, aiming to bolster support for ex-servicemen and their families.
