The sudden demise of Savita Kashyap in Saharanpur's Nagal area has left the local community on edge, raising suspicions among family members who allege foul play.
Savita, who lived with her husband Lalit in Subhari Mehrab village, was found dead on Wednesday night. Her husband, a mason, was in Rampur for work when she passed away. Villagers had informed Lalit's contractor that his wife was unwell, prompting Lalit's return, only to find her deceased.
Despite the family's murder claim, the police have yet to receive a formal complaint. The body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of death, an investigation is pending based on the results.
