Israel Issues Urgent Warning: Military Action Looms in Southern Lebanon
The Israeli military plans to target Hezbollah's activities in southern Lebanon, according to a military spokesperson. Lebanon faces pressure to disarm Hezbollah from the US, Saudi Arabia, and domestic adversaries. Evacuation warnings have been issued in three villages as military action is imminent.
The Israeli military has announced forthcoming attacks on Hezbollah's military strongholds in southern Lebanon. This move aims to counter the group's attempts to rebuild its operations in the region, according to an Israeli military spokesperson.
Lebanon is experiencing significant pressure from the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Hezbollah's domestic rivals to disarm the militant group. Despite this, Hezbollah maintains that discussing disarmament is unwise while Israel continues to conduct airstrikes and occupy areas in southern Lebanon.
Military spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning on social media, urging residents in buildings marked in red to evacuate. These structures are located in the Lebanese villages of Mays al-Jabal, Kfar Tebnit, and Dibbine. The military has indicated that the attack will occur soon, though an exact time has not been disclosed.
