In a significant breakthrough against Naxal activities, arms and ammunition were seized by authorities during an anti-Naxal operation in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district, officials said on Monday.
The operation, executed jointly by the CRPF and state police, took place in the Bishnugarh police station area, near the Hazaribag-Bokaro district border on Sunday night. Among the seized items were two SLR rifles, their magazines, and a large number of cartridges.
The operation remains active, with Bishnugarh's SDPO BN Prasad confirming ongoing efforts. Additionally, Hazaribag's SP Anjani Anjan visited the site to evaluate the situation.
