Russia poses a continuous threat to NATO even after the cessation of the Ukraine war, according to Finland's Defence Minister Antti Hakkanen. He conveyed these concerns on Wednesday, highlighting persistent challenges.

Prior to a NATO defence ministers meeting, Hakkanen pointed to a noticeable increase in Russian military build-up, emphasizing the sustained threat they present.

Moreover, he noted that Russia's swift consumption of military resources has led to a growing reliance on China, marking a significant shift in global military dynamics.
