Tragedy in Jharkhand: IRB Jawan Shot Dead Over Minor Dispute
An Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) jawan, Ajay Yadav, was allegedly shot dead in Jharkhand's Bokaro district after an altercation with Balram Tiwari. Yadav, who was visiting home for Chhath Puja, succumbed to gunshot wounds in Bokaro General Hospital. Police investigation is underway to apprehend the suspect.

An Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) jawan, identified as Ajay Yadav, was reportedly shot dead following a minor dispute in Jharkhand's Bokaro district, police sources confirmed on Tuesday.
Yadav, a resident of Yaduvansh Nagar and stationed in Giridih, was back home in Chas for the Chhath Puja holiday. The tragic incident unfolded on Monday evening.
Authorities stated an argument erupted between the jawan and a young man, Balram Tiwari, which escalated into physical aggression. Tiwari allegedly returned with a firearm, shooting Yadav thrice, according to Chas Sub-divisional Police Officer Praveen Kumar Singh. Despite being rushed to Bokaro General Hospital, Yadav was declared dead on arrival. An FIR has been filed, and police efforts are ongoing to apprehend Tiwari and any accomplices involved.
