Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared on Tuesday that the 'new Uttar Pradesh does not accept crime'. Speaking in Gorakhpur, he stressed swift justice, stating that offenders are quickly apprehended and jailed.

Addressing a gathering post the inauguration of the upgraded Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (RFSL), Adityanath noted the state's major strides in modern policing. The long-awaited Commissionerate system has begun implementation, marking a 50-year milestone.

Since coming to power, Adityanath's government has reinforced law enforcement by transforming cities into safe zones using extensive CCTV surveillance. The newly inaugurated RFSL facility, costing Rs 72.78 crore, further strengthens these efforts.
