Heroin Bust at Charbagh: DRI Seizes Rs 21.77 Crore Worth of Drugs
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 3.110 kilograms of heroin from two women passengers at Charbagh railway station. Acting on a tip-off, DRI identified the suspects arriving from West Bengal. The heroin, valued at Rs 21.77 crore, led to the women's arrest under the NDPS Act.

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) achieved a significant victory against drug trafficking on Tuesday by seizing 3.110 kilograms of heroin from two women at Charbagh railway station, according to officials.
Working on intelligence that the women were transporting narcotics from New Jalpaiguri to Delhi, the DRI maintained surveillance and identified the suspects upon the train's arrival.
Subsequent searches revealed packets containing heroin valued at Rs 21.77 crore on the black market. The women now face prosecution under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
