The Thane Zilla Parishad has reported significant progress in its 'Door Step Delivery' initiative, which has successfully delivered vital certificates and documents to 4,740 citizens directly in their homes.

Encompassing 431 gram panchayats, the service offers 402 government services, from birth and death certificates to Aadhaar-linked services, PAN corrections, and scholarship applications.

According to Pramod Kale, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Gram Panchayat, 5,112 applications have been received to date, with just 138 appointments still pending processing.
