Delhi Court Orders Judicial Custody for Pepper Spray Protesters

In a significant legal action, a Delhi court has remanded eight individuals to seven-day judicial custody. These persons are accused of deploying pepper spray against police officials during a protest.
While Judicial Magistrate Aridaman Singh Cheema ordered the custody, another judicial officer, Sahil Monga, granted bail earlier in a related scuffle case.
The arrests come as part of a larger crackdown involving 23 protestors, apprehended across two separate incidents at the Parliament Street and Kartavya Path police stations.
