In a rapidly circulating video on social media, claims have arisen that a dhoti-clad priest and another individual experienced physical humiliation at the hands of the police in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh.
Despite these allegations, Kotwali police station's Station House Officer, Ashish Kumar Dhurve, has categorically denied any misuse of power by the police force. The controversy centers around a raid stemming from complaints about alleged 'immoral activities' in Chandan village.
According to the SHO, while the priest Anil Dwivedi and others were brought in for questioning, no wrongdoing occurred at the station. Dhurve emphasized that the video does not depict events at their facility, and investigations are ongoing, though no charges have been filed.
