Copper Heist Foiled: Mastermind Arrested at Station

Authorities arrested two individuals for stealing approximately 2,110 kg of copper and additional items after detaining a security guard. The theft took place at a factory in Faridabad, as reported by police on Saturday.
The suspects, apprehended at Faridabad railway station, were attempting to flee to Bihar. Police recovered all stolen goods, including two LED televisions and a pick-up truck valued at Rs 25 lakh. The crime occurred at Trikuta Metals plant on the night of November 23, leading to an FIR at Mujesar police station.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Varun Dahiya stated that Sandeep Suman, 42, and Suraj, 39, both from Bihar's Munger district, were arrested. Sandeep, deemed the mastermind, previously worked at the factory and orchestrated the theft due to financial distress. Investigations are ongoing.
