Capital's Bomb Threat Hoax Sparks Panic
On Saturday afternoon, bomb threats at the Indian Women's Press Corps and Shankar Market in the capital led to extensive security operations. Police received threats via email, prompting a search. However, after thorough inspections, the threats were deemed hoaxes, with no suspicious items found.

A bomb threat targeting the Indian Women's Press Corps (IWPC) and Shankar Market in the capital sent police into action on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities received an email around 1.30 pm, warning of explosives at IWPC's Windsor Place premises. A similar threat was issued for Shankar Market in Connaught Place.
Multiple police teams, alongside bomb disposal units, dog squads, and fire tenders, were deployed. Areas were secured, and access was restricted while thorough searches were conducted, revealing no suspicious items. Consequently, the threats were declared hoaxes. A senior officer confirmed an ongoing investigation.
