Defense Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the strategic execution of Operation Sindoor, underscoring the Indian armed forces' choice for restrained yet effective action in response to terror threats. Speaking on Sunday, Singh highlighted the role of improved border connectivity in the operation's success.
During the inauguration of 125 infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Singh pointed out the major improvements in India's defense manufacturing sector. Production has tripled since 2014, transforming the nation from an import-reliant to a producer-exporter, thanks to a robust defense strategy.
The defense minister stressed the importance of connectivity, enabling swift military operations and boosting economic growth. Singh expressed gratitude to the residents of Ladakh for supporting the forces during Operation Sindoor, a campaign targeting terror hubs in Pakistan and PoK, following a grievous attack in Kashmir.
