Sub-registrar Ravindra Taru has been apprehended by Pimpri Chinchwad police after irregularities were discovered in the Mundhwa land deal.

The deal involved a deceptive transaction concerning a 40-acre government plot reportedly sold fraudulently to a firm in which Ajit Pawar's son is a partner.
