Manhunt for Autorickshaw Driver in Shocking Dalit Minor Rape Case

A Dalit girl was allegedly raped by an autorickshaw driver after he lured her to his home under the pretext of helping her relocate. The incident happened on December 3. Identified as Sai Kumar, the suspect is absconding. Authorities have launched a manhunt and registered a case under POCSO.

Authorities are on a manhunt for Sai Kumar, an autorickshaw driver accused of raping a minor Dalit girl under the guise of assisting her move between hostels. The alleged crime took place on December 3, and the complaint was lodged with police cooperation from the victim's friends.

According to law enforcement, Kumar manipulated the trust of the minor by offering to help her with relocation efforts before allegedly committing the crime. Subsequent attempts to capture him have been complicated, as Kumar has absconded and turned off his mobile phone.

Police have officially registered a case under several BNS sections, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. The investigation is ongoing as authorities urge local communities to assist with the apprehension of the suspect.
