In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, authorities arrested three individuals, including a woman, near Jammu city. The operation led to the seizure of 170 grams of heroin and several weapons on Tuesday.

The suspects were apprehended in the border town of RS Pura after they attempted to flee when police stopped their vehicle at Daljeet Chowk. Thanks to swift action, law enforcement officers managed to halt the car and take all occupants into custody for questioning.

Identified as Pritam Singh alias Sethi, Narayan Sharma alias Shunna, and Jaspreet Kour alias Preeti, all the accused hail from Samba. A probe is underway to expose the drug supply chain, financial ties, and to identify other individuals involved in the illicit activities.
