The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has voiced strong opposition to former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi's plea to transfer criminal cases against her and her family to a different court.

Rabri Devi asserts that Special Judge Vishal Gogne exhibits bias, prompting her transfer request. The cases in question involve the land-for-jobs and IRCTC scams. They are currently under examination by both the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the CBI.

The legal proceedings are overseen by Principal District and Sessions Judge Dinesh Bhatt. A spirited exchange took place as DP Singh criticized the transfer application, arguing that it attempts to discredit the judicial system. The CBI further contended that Rabri's plea was raised only after significant trial progress, indicting an endeavor to influence justice. The court will resume discussions on December 15.
