Financial Strain and Abuse Alleged in Bhiwandi Suicide Case

A 31-year-old woman is under investigation by Narpoli police for allegedly driving her husband, Mohiddin Mohammad Salim Ansari, to suicide. Ansari, 30, reportedly jumped into a creek on December 4 in Bhiwandi. He was allegedly subjected to verbal abuse and financial pressure by his wife.

Police have registered a case against the 31-year-old following the death of Mohiddin Mohammad Salim Ansari, who died by suicide on December 4.

His mother claims his wife verbally abused him and pressured him financially, leading to his drastic action. Despite the registered case under section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, police have yet to make an arrest.
