A barber from East Delhi has been arrested following a violent altercation that led to the death of a 28-year-old man. The incident, sparked by a disagreement over a bidi, took place near Shashi Garden in Pandav Nagar according to local police reports.
Authorities received a call at 1.24 am regarding the disturbance. The confrontation escalated when the alleged assailant, Manoj, reportedly picked up a wooden stick and struck the victim, Deepak, multiple times on the head, leaving notable injuries and bruising.
Despite being rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, the victim was pronounced dead on arrival. Law enforcement has registered an FIR, and further investigations are pending.
