A tragic accident unfolded in Ballia district when a Class 9 student lost his life, and two others were severely injured after a car hit their motorcycle. The incident occurred as the teenagers were stopped on the roadside to speak with a friend.
The victim, Karan Yadav, aged 14, was pronounced dead at the scene, while his friends, Prince Turha, 16, and Shailesh, 15, sustained serious injuries. They were initially treated at Seeyar Community Health Centre before being referred to the district hospital due to the severity of their injuries.
The police have registered a case against an unidentified car driver following a complaint from the deceased's father, Kishun Yadav, under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Investigations are ongoing, with officers working to locate the driver responsible for the tragic incident.
