Asia’s Premier Aerospace and Defence Exhibition
The Singapore Airshow 2026, Asia’s leading biennial aerospace and defence exhibition, is being held at the Changi Exhibition Centre from 3 to 8 February 2026. The event brings together air forces from around the world, defence industry leaders and aviation stakeholders, providing a platform to showcase advanced military and civil aviation technologies while fostering professional interaction, strategic dialogue and industry partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.
This year’s airshow features participation by the Sarang Helicopter Display Team alongside three other international display teams, in addition to a static display of 37 aircraft, reflecting the scale and global significance of the event.
Sarang Team’s Global Footprint
Established in 2005, the Sarang Aerobatic Team comprises five ALH Dhruv helicopters and has earned international recognition for its distinctive and technically demanding helicopter aerobatics. The team has previously performed at several prestigious global events, including the MAKS International Air Show in Russia (2021), the Dubai Airshow (2021 and 2023), the Bahrain International Airshow (2024), and earlier editions of the Singapore Airshow in 2024 and 2026.
In addition to international appearances, the Sarang team regularly performs at major domestic events and has also rendered invaluable services in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations, reinforcing the operational credibility of the ALH Dhruv beyond display roles.
Showcasing Indigenous Capability
The participation of the Sarang Helicopter Display Team at Singapore Airshow 2026 reinforces India’s commitment to indigenisation, technological self-reliance and defence diplomacy, while demonstrating the global competitiveness of Indian aerospace platforms. The ALH Dhruv’s presence at the airshow serves as a strong endorsement of India’s indigenous design and manufacturing capabilities in the rotary-wing domain.
