Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, Cuba's deputy foreign minister, highlighted Cuba's readiness for serious and responsible discussions with the U.S.
The diplomat stated that while messages have been exchanged and embassies involved, these interactions have not yet matured into a structured dialogue. The remarks were made during an interview at the Foreign Ministry in Havana, reflecting a cautious optimism for future engagement.
The Cuban government remains open to initiatives aimed at fostering substantial and meaningful bilateral relations, signaling a potential shift in diplomatic relations between the two nations.
