Italy successfully stopped a series of cyberattacks, which were reportedly of Russian origin, aimed at its foreign ministry, an embassy in Washington, Winter Olympics websites, and hotels in Cortina d’Ampezzo, as announced by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.

In a decisive move, Italy has successfully intercepted a series of cyberattacks allegedly originating from Russia. These attacks targeted Italy's foreign ministry facilities, including a critical embassy in Washington.

The cyber threats also extended to websites associated with the Winter Olympics and a number of hotels in Cortina d'Ampezzo, according to Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
