In the fiscal year 2024-25, the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) received over 22 lakh grievances from citizens, as revealed in a recent session of the Rajya Sabha. The system facilitates online registration of complaints against various government bodies.

Minister of State Jitendra Singh disclosed that out of the registered grievances against central ministries and state/UT governments, over 23 lakh were resolved, showing a proactive approach in addressing public concerns. Average resolution times ranged from 15 to 119 days.

The government has initiated '10-Step Reforms' on CPGRAMS to enhance grievance redressal efficiency, including measures to decrease pendency and improve responsiveness across departments. This initiative highlights the government's commitment to improving interactions between citizens and public institutions.
