The body of Chandan Kumar, a 37-year-old Indian IT professional who was tragically shot in Toronto, is set to be repatriated to Bengaluru, as announced by BJP MP K Sudhakar.
Kumar, who hailed from Thyamagondlu in Nelamangala taluk, met his untimely death in a shootout in a parking lot of a bustling shopping center in Canada. This unfortunate incident occurred on February 7.
Sudhakar expressed relief and gratitude, acknowledging the efforts of the Indian government in facilitating a swift repatriation process. He extended thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and Indian Embassy officials in Canada. The mortal remains will depart Toronto on February 14, reaching Bengaluru via New Delhi on February 16.
