In northwest Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area, authorities apprehended Md Kadir and Ravi Ahmad following an alleged assault on a 24-year-old woman. The incident, devoid of stalking allegations, was recorded after the victim's statement was secured alongside a medico-legal certificate.
Kadir, employed as a security guard, and Ahmad, a local meat shop owner, reportedly attacked the domestic help following a dispute. During the clash, Harichand, a cleaner, allegedly tried torching Kadir's motorcycle, but police quickly intervened, preventing further damage.
Officials suspect a mere escalation of a disagreement into violence. Investigations continue to unravel the precise series of events that led to the arrests, with authorities gathering testimonies from all involved parties.
