In a chilling trend, Dehradun has witnessed another murder as businessman Vikram Sharma was gunned down near Silver City Cinema on Rajpur Road on Friday, police reported.
Sharma, 50, was shot at close range after leaving a gym, according to police sources. This event marks the third murder in the city over the past 11 days, spreading fear among the locals.
Sharma, involved in numerous criminal cases, was believed to be a part of a gang war, police suspect. A manhunt has been launched to track down those responsible as authorities work tirelessly to prevent further violence.
