The tragic incident came to light following a complaint by Budh Singh, the children's father, who became suspicious after the sudden deaths of their 8-year-old daughter Sukhpreet Kaur and 6-year-old son Fatehveer Singh. The children died within a span of days, prompting deeper scrutiny.
Under police questioning, Jassi Kaur admitted to mixing rat poison into the children's food in a calculated conspiracy. Her sister, Moto Kaur, and another individual, Lakhi Singh, are also said to be implicated in the scheme. Officials confirmed the arrests, and an investigation is ongoing to uncover further details.
