In a significant breakthrough, Delhi police have apprehended Jitender, a 36-year-old accused of supplying stolen mobile phones to Nepal. The arrest is part of an ongoing operation against an organized gang involved in mobile theft and snatching.

Jitender, also known as Jhela, resided in Majnu Ka Tila and acted as the chief receiver and supplier for the gang. His capture came after his associates, Jai Bhagwan alias Kale and another Jitender alias Pahar, were detained with 52 stolen phones.

The police have managed to recover 21 mobile phones and have traced five to registered cases while they continue to investigate other links. Jitender already has a criminal history with five charges, including robbery and theft.
