Mumbai Police Nab Alleged Shooter Amid Bollywood Director Targeting

Mumbai police have arrested six individuals, including the alleged shooter, in connection to shots fired at filmmaker Rohit Shetty's residence. The suspects, including Deepak Sharma, were caught from Haryana and Rajasthan. This case is linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, invoking MCOCA charges.

In a significant breakthrough, Mumbai police have apprehended six individuals tied to a shooting incident at filmmaker Rohit Shetty's Juhu residence. The alleged shooter, Deepak Sharma, was captured following operations in Haryana and Rajasthan.

The attack, which saw five bullets fired at Shetty's nine-story building, occurred on February 1 at 12:45 am. Notably, one of the bullets struck a gym inside the premises, raising security concerns in the area.

The notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang is implicated, with gang member Shubham Lonkar accepting responsibility via social media. Authorities have invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act against the suspects, escalating their legal repercussions.
