In a devastating incident on Monday, an illegal firecracker-manufacturing factory in Bhiwadi town of Rajasthan's Khairthal-Tijara district caught fire, causing the deaths of seven people, while two others were critically injured.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced financial aid of Rs 3 lakh for the families of the deceased and expressed condolences, ensuring that the state government stands in solidarity with the bereaved families. The factory, falsely registered as a garment unit, had been operating illegally until a patrol alerted officials to the blaze.

Authorities, including Additional District Magistrate Sumitra Pareek, have initiated a full investigation to determine the cause of the fire, with police recovering gunpowder and firecrackers from the site. Top state officials have pledged a rigorous inspection of all industrial units in the region to prevent future tragedies.
