Twelve years after the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, efforts to locate the aircraft have faced setbacks, according to recent statements by Malaysian authorities. Despite advanced searches led by Ocean Infinity in the southern Indian Ocean, no wreckage has been found, leaving families in limbo.
The Air Accident Investigation Bureau reported that the deep-sea search, carried out in two phases between March 2025 and January 2026, covered extensive ocean floor area but failed to yield conclusive results. Utilizing a 'no-find, no-fee' contract, Ocean Infinity will only receive payment if the aircraft is found.
Amidst deteriorating sea conditions, Voice 370 has advocated for continued searches, urging Malaysia to extend Ocean Infinity's contract and consider similar contracts with other companies. The group remains resolute, emphasizing their commitment to finding answers for the missing passengers and crew.
