In a recent development, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has declined proposals aimed at reducing hostilities or establishing a ceasefire with the United States. The propositions were relayed through two intermediary nations.

A high-ranking Iranian official, who preferred to remain anonymous, revealed on Tuesday that Khamenei's approach to foreign policy remains uncompromising, with calls for retribution against the U.S. and Israel dominating discussions.

During what was considered his inaugural foreign policy meeting in this context, Khamenei's position was described as both 'tough and serious,' although it is not clear if he was present during these deliberations.
