The district administration in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh, took a bold step by demolishing shops linked to Ajay Pratap Singh, the main accused in the murder case of two Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) officials. The authorities cited that these shops were unlawfully constructed on government land.

Ajay Pratap Singh allegedly shot dead HPCL officials Harshit Mishra and Sudhir Kumar Gupta after losing his vendor position at the plant. Alongside Singh's arrest, two more individuals, Dharmendra Yadav and Munendra Vikram Singh, employed at HPCL, were detained for their alleged roles in the conspiracy.

Families of the victims are calling for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe, threatening self-immolation if justice is not served. This shocking event underscores deep grievances and demands a thorough investigation to ensure accountability, with further charges looming for illegal electricity usage by the accused.
