In a shocking incident in Jharkhand's Palamu district, a 22-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly poisoning and strangling her husband to death, according to police reports on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Katri village, under the Navajaypur Police Station jurisdiction. Sadar Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rajesh Yadav confirmed that the accused confessed to the crime. Evidence, including a cloth with vomit traces, was recovered at the scene.
Police launched an investigation following a complaint by the victim's father, revealing prior marital disputes and infidelity. The accused reportedly disliked her husband and mixed tablets in his food. Further investigations are ongoing.
