In a significant legal development, a sessions court in Mapusa, Goa granted bail to Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, owners of the ill-fated Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub, amidst allegations of culpable homicide following last December's tragic fire.
The devastating blaze, which claimed 25 lives, saw the brothers flee to Thailand, only to be deported and arrested upon their return to India. Despite securing bail in the fire-related case, their legal troubles are far from over as they face a separate forgery case.
The forgery case involves accusations against the duo for allegedly forging documents to acquire necessary permits. The Mapusa court previously denied their pre-arrest bail in this matter, reflecting the complex legal ordeal ahead.
